It supports modern and legacy video codecs including H.264, H.265, VP8, VP9, FFV1, and Canopus HQ, as well as audio formats like FLAC, OPUS, OGG Vorbis, and WMA.

The plugin now features an update to FFmpeg v6.1 libraries, offering a 3% average performance boost in decoding. Its redesigned global settings let you precisely control import behavior—choose between full override of Adobe importers or fallback-only mode. Advanced users can configure behaviors through a TOML config file for deeper customization.

Version 1.5.3 also introduces compatibility with Adobe CC 2024 and macOS Sonoma, improved import speed with reduced seeking latency, and enhanced duration accuracy for tricky clips. Users can now suffix filenames with !accurate_duration.influx to ensure proper import timing.
