Tom Bolles – CinePrint35 Film Emulations

Tom Bolles CinePrint35 Film Emulations is a high-end color grading toolkit crafted specifically for Davinci Resolve, enabling video editors, colorists, and filmmakers to replicate the iconic look of 16mm and 35mm film with stunning accuracy. Developed by Los Angeles-based cinematographer Tom Bolles after comprehensive tests on real film stocks and modern digital cameras, CinePrint35 combines photochemical fidelity with digital flexibility.

Shot in early 2023 and developed at Fotokem—Hollywood’s go-to film lab—the scans used to create these emulations meet the highest industry color standards. The result is a set of PowerGrades that not only look cinematic but are also entirely customizable within the native node structure of Davinci Resolve, with no need for third-party plug-ins.

The pack features three faithfully recreated film stocks: Kodak Vision3 500T, Kodak Vision3 250D, and Fuji Eterna Vivid 160T. The rare Fuji Eterna stock, no longer in production, is brought back to life through precise emulation techniques that preserve its unique photochemical color science.

For cross-platform compatibility, CinePrint35 also includes LUT versions of the grades for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other major NLEs.
