The Trump Soft Pro Font Family is a polished and modernized evolution of the widely recognized Trump Gothic Pro, a typeface that has shaped the visual identity of countless films, magazines, book covers, and fashion brands around the world. By introducing softened edges, Trump Soft Pro offers a more refined and delicate aesthetic while preserving the modular strength and functionality of its predecessor.
Rooted in the legacy of Georg Trump’s 1955 Signum typeface and later refined by Czech designer Stanislav Marso, Trump Soft Pro retains a sense of typographic heritage. Marso’s 2002 interpretation carefully blended qualities from previous versions to create a design that remains both timeless and highly functional. The updated Trump Soft Pro builds on this foundation to meet modern design demands.
Widely adopted in the late 1990s and early 2000s for film production and visual media, the typeface gained notable popularity after its public release in 2005. By 2013, it had evolved into a comprehensive six-font multiscript family, designed to support global communication needs. Each style includes more than 1020 glyphs, extensive OpenType features such as small caps and stylistic alternatives, and full coverage of Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts.
Trump Soft Pro is a valuable choice for designers seeking a versatile, heirloom-quality typeface with a contemporary softness. Its balanced construction makes it ideal for branding, editorial design, motion graphics, advertising, and any project requiring professional multiscript typography with a premium finish.
