Aescripts Effect Matte 1.4.0 is a powerful plugin for After Effects that simplifies the matte creation process. With this plugin, users no longer need an additional track matte layer to achieve the desired effect. Effect Matte provides an easy way to generate flexible and fully customizable mattes that are perfect for all your compositing needs.
This plugin works seamlessly with After Effects, providing an intuitive interface that makes it easy to animate and adjust the matte. Key features include the ability to adjust parameters such as expansion (both positive and negative), roundness, and feathering, giving you full control over your matte's look and feel. You can even manually tweak the boundaries of the matte to get the exact result you're looking for. Additionally, a Shift tab feature allows percentage-based adjustments, providing you with further flexibility.
Effect Matte is compatible with After Effects CS6 and higher, supporting 32bpc color and video/text layers. Mac users will need macOS 10.8 or higher to use the plugin. It's worth noting that the plugin works with layers that have constant rasterization enabled, and it's compatible with AE CC2018 and later versions. However, some limitations exist, such as the "Auto Collection Matte" feature not being compatible with contour layers.
New updates in version 1.4.0 include native support for ARM chips (Apple Silicon) and a bug fix related to the matte being disabled. This version enhances the plugin’s overall performance and ensures it works efficiently on both Windows and Mac systems.
If you are working with After Effects and need a reliable matte tool that saves you time and effort, Aescripts Effect Matte 1.4.0 is the perfect solution for you. Download and enhance your AE workflow today!
